Montenegro Airlines and Russia’s S7 Airlines will begin codesharing on each other’ flights from January 15 next year. The Montenegrin carrier will place its code and flight numbers to S7’s services from Moscow Domodedovo Airport and St. Petersburg to Tivat. In return S7, which boasts the largest domestic network in Russia and is a member of the Oneworld alliance, will place its flight numbers on Montenegro Airlines’ service from Domodedovo Airport to Tivat. The cooperation comes despite comments made earlier this month by Sergey Glazyev, the advisor to Russia’s President, for flights between the two countries to be reduced due to Montenegro’s foreign policy.
