Flydubai yesterday inaugurated three weekly flights between Dubai and Zagreb, linking the two cities for the first time. Jeyhun Efendi, the Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations at Flydubai said, “The new service to Zagreb shows growing demand on the market. The new route will give passengers the opportunity to travel to the Middle East, Africa and Asia through Dubai”. Flydubai anticipates an average load factor of 70% on the route and will consider additional frequencies over the summer months. The airline expects for the number of tourists visiting Croatia from the United Arab Emirates to double or even triple with the launch of nonstop flights. The number of travellers visiting Croatia from the UAE increased 30% during the first eleven months of the year when compared to 2013.
How were the loads?
