The newly formed Lufthansa subsidiary, Eurowings, will replace Germanwings on several seasonal routes between Germany and Croatia this summer. Operating on behalf of Germanwings, Eurowings aircraft will run flights from Dusseldorf to Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar and Rijeka, from Hamburg to Zagreb and Rijeka and from Stuttgart to Dubrovnik. All flights will operate with a mix of Airbus A320 and Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft. The majority of these seasonal services will run from late June.
