Low cost airline easyJet will commence operations to Pula this summer. The budget carrier will introduce a two weekly seasonal service from London Gatwick, which will launch on June 23. Flights will operate until October 20 with further details available here. Pula becomes easyJet’s latest destination in Croatia as it continues its expansion in the country. This summer, the no frills carrier will launch five new routes to Split, thus offering eighteen destinations from Croatia’s second busiest airport. In a statement to EX-YU Aviation News, the airline’s spokesman for Europe, Matteo Taddei, said, “Croatia is an important market for easyJet. easyJet carried nearly half a million passengers to and from Croatia during the 2014 financial year (October 1, 2013 – September 30)”.
