The installation of two air bridges at Dubrovnik Airport has begun. The air bridges, valued at 1.1 million euros, will be installed by December. They have been produced by China’s CIMC Company. The addition of air bridges, which will connect the terminal building with parked aircraft, will also provide additional revenue for Dubrovnik Airport as airlines are charged for their use. Dubrovnik becomes the first airport in Croatia with air bridges.
ZAGREB BIG FAIL - DUBROVNIK THUMBS UP!!!
ReplyDeletePlease elaborate why it is a big fail for Zagreb that Dubrovnik is getting air bridges?
ReplyDeleteWell, because Zagreb should have had them ages ago! Dubrovnik is such a well-managed airport. Good for them!
DeleteWell then, there was no need to involve Zagreb in the comment as it was not mentioned in the post, just a thumbs up for Dubrovnik would suffice.
DeleteNow that you mention that Zagreb should have had air bridges ages ago, where exactly would you place them in the current terminal?
Awesome! Looking forward to using them :)
ReplyDeleteCroatia, a country where tourism is largely the leading industri and major contributor to the GDP introduces jetways in 2014, well after Macedonia, Bosnia and even Kosovo.
ReplyDeleteAnd we still have a much higher standard of all other Ex-Yu countries, except for Slovenia!
