Adria sells two CRJ900s

Adria Airways has concluded the sale of two of its Bombardier CRJ900 jets to AeroCentury. AeroCentury is an aircraft operating lessor and finance company specialising in leasing regional aircraft and engines utilising triple net leases. The company´s aircraft and engines are leased to regional airlines and commercial users worldwide. The Slovenian carrier has immediately leased back the two sold aircraft. It decided to sell the jets in a bid to increase liquidity. AeroCentry President, Neal Crispin, said, “These are our first CRJ900s. We are pleased to be adding a new aircraft type and a new customer at the same time”. Adria’s CEO, Mark Anžur, added, “Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets are providing excellent cost efficiency and network flexibility and have been very well received by our passengers”.

    It is supposed to fly until the end of winter season, i.e. 29 March 2015.
