Air Serbia adds Seoul codeshare

Monday, January 26, 2015

Air Serbia is continuing to expand its presence in Asia through its codeshare partnership with part-owner Etihad Airways. The Serbian carrier will place its “JU” designator code and flight numbers on to Etihad Airways’ evening service from Abu Dhabi to Seoul and return, operated daily. The new codeshare to the South Korean capital comes into effect on February 1. Air Serbia already has its flight numbers on a range of Etihad services from Abu Dhabi, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Kuwait, Colombo, Bahrain, Ho Chi Minh City and the Seychelles.

As expected. Recently added codeshares to Singapore, Vietnam and now Korea. For what could be next, look at what is left from the list of bilaterals signed last year: Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Seychelles, Morocco, New Zealand, Pakistan and Vietnam.

It doesnt make any sense to fly to Morocco or Egypt via Abu Dhabi. Or they will put their code on Alitalia flight or they are planning direct one from Belgrade.

Will South Africa be added as well, or it's not in the plans?

Uvek!. U nadi da ce Nacionalna avio kompanija imati jos mnogo sporazuma ovakve vrste.
Najbolje zelje iz kuce Qantasville, Rodney. Kraljevo +++ Sydney.
