Air Serbia adds Vietnam codeshare

Monday, January 19, 2015

Air Serbia has inked yet another codeshare agreement and expanded its partnership with Etihad Airways. Serbia’s national carrier will place its flight numbers and marketing code on Etihad’s service between Abu Dhabi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and viceversa. Air Serbia will add its “JU” designator code on Etihad’s morning flight from the Emirati capital to Ho Chi Minh City starting January 25. The Serbian carrier already codeshares on a range of Etihad Airways flights from Abu Dhabi, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Kuwait, Colombo, Bahrain, Singapore and the Seychelles.

No, they are not because Serbia and South Africa never signed a bilateral agreement. Also, the passenger flow is not that great, about 2.400 passengers per month.
